What we have here is a style queen, literally! Queen Elizabeth has always exuded vintage glamor on her outings and on Christmas day she did something which very few celebrities would do, let alone royals! She recycled a yellow dress which she had worn once before! Only the Queen can do something like that and totally get away with it! It is usually the Duchess of Cambridge who is always making news for her subdued and functional fashion sense, but this time the Queen was the show-stealer. Along with wearing five outfits on Christmas day, Queen Elizabeth sported a pair of classic glasses throughout.
Her first outfit was a brown fur coat which she changed for a Stewart Parvin coat in burnt cashmere shades later. The brown coat has been in her possession since 1961 and she still managed to make it look like it is new. Her earrings and her shoes were vintage and they reminded us of Hollywood actresses from the 1950-s. The reading glasses she wore completed the vintage look she was aiming for and they were the only thing which she didn’t change throughout the day. The designer reading glasses added a vintage aura to her Christmas look.
