When talking about John Oliver, anyone will think of a man with spectacles on his eyes. John Oliver came to the United States to be one writer and correspondent for John Stewart and the Daily Show. This show is broadcast from Comedy Central on HBO. Once here he has made quite a name for himself. John Oliver will soon be hosting his own HBO show.
John Oliver recently went to Afghanistan as a guest of the USO. He entertained the troops and local people. Returning from Afghanistan he took over as host for the Daily show whiles John Stewart took some time off to direct the movie Rosewater. When John returned to the show John Oliver went on a comedy tour across the United States. The tour will be over at the beginning of next year. He will then be starting his own topical comedy show that will air on HBO, on Sunday nights.
