Pi Day celebrates pi, the symbol for the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter, shown on the right. It is held in the third month (March) on the 14th day in tribute to the first three digits of pi - 3.14. Are you excited that Pi Day is coming? Do you think of how to celebrate it?

Pi is a irrational and never-ending number. It has been represented by the Greek letter "%u03C0" since the mid-18th century. It's applied to many different fields of study, such as math, physics, statistics and sociology. It provides a mathematical constant for all these different areas. For example, in order to calculate the area of a circle, you must use it.
