French president Francois Hollande is facing a lot of media attention due to the recent news about his ongoing affairs with actress, Julie Gayet. The president, usually poised and confident, has been doing his best to retain his usual calm demeanor despite there being rumors and salacious gossip surrounding his troubled long term relationship and cheating affair.
Wearing his usual pair of reading glasses with their rimless glasses frames, Francois Hollande has a fair bit of explaining to do to his currently hospitalized partner, Valerie, and to the French public, who are no doubt, surprised, albeit not shocked about the affair. Given the general penchant for men in power to have mistresses and girlfriends, it is unsurprising that the French president should also be in the same boat. The 59-year old philandering president however, does not appear to have very much to worry about in context with his partner, however, who is allegedly said to have stated that she will take him back and continue their relationship; the condition for this is that he must privately and publicly announce that his other relationship is over.
This scandal could not have come at a worse time for the president, who was otherwise hopeful about interacting with the media about new economic policies for the state. Apart from his stylish choice in glasses frames for men, it seems that a dual relationship was not the best choice for this powerful individual.
