Not many mothers in the world would want their daughter to star in a movie which is based on a novel which gave new meaning to the term “BDSM”! However, Melanie Griffith is not one of those mothers! Her daughter, Dakota Johnson, who was chosen to play the part of Anastasia Steele amongst many other actresses, has sure made the momma proud! It is not a wonder then that Melanie Griffith was spotted at the LAX beaming with pride for her daughter who has finally made it big! Along with rocking a monochrome look, she was wearing prescription glasses which did little to hide the gleam in her eyes!
We can understand why she is so proud of her daughter, especially when the latter started out with a not-so-noticeable role in the “Social Network”! Along with rocking the black and white look and wearing black frame glasses, Melanie made sure that everybody saw the pride on her face. She was coming back after visiting the sets of “50 Shades of Grey” and looked visibly happy with whatever she has seen there in her oversized glasses. Now we wait and watch to see what the happiness is all about when the movie releases!
